Edd Hall

Edd Hall (born December 7, 1958) was the announcer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2004. He was replaced by John Melendez.

He often introduced himself saying “…And me, I'm Edd Hall.”

Hall occasionally appeared in skits during the opening monologue. These skits often involved slapstick injury to Hall (by using a stunt double, dummy, or film clip), such as vehicles running him over in the studio parking lot. He was far less visible on the show, though, compared to his successor, John Melendez.

He is currently is the announcer for Merv Griffin's Crosswords.
